Mineblox Royale is a mod for Minecraft: Java Edition, not a standalone game. Minecraft: Java Edition, Roblox and Fortnite must all be installed on your computer for it to work as intended.

  • MinecraftJava Edition on your own Microsoft account. It's the game the mod runs in.
  • RobloxGives everyone the Roblox avatar look, outfits, emotes and sounds.
  • FortniteBrings its art to the hub.

Mineblox Royale only reads a few files from your own copies of Roblox and Fortnite. It never changes, starts or connects to them, and nothing from them is included in the download.

Before your first match

What you need

  • Minecraft: Java Edition, Roblox and Fortnite installed on your PC, with Minecraft on your own Microsoft account.
  • About 8 GB of RAM. Made and tested on Windows.
  • Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, and Java 25. Melty and the launcher files set these up for you.

Your first start

Your launcher first downloads Minecraft 26.3 from Mojang (about 500 MB, once). Leave its progress window open until the game appears.

The game then opens straight into your own Mineblox Royale world. Your first island is made in the background over the first few minutes (the hub shows how far along it is), and the obby, the shooting range and the Locker are open meanwhile.

Updating

On Melty, updates come by themselves. With a launcher, import the new version's file the same way you did the first time. Your unlocks and outfit come along.

Everyone who plays together needs the same version.

Disk space

Every match is played on a new island, and the ones you've finished with are removed when the world opens, so the world folder stays small. With less than 1 GB free, the next match reuses the same island.

Squad up with friends

Everyone starts in their own world. Share a room code and your friends drop into yours. No servers, no port forwarding.

  • The host types /rc to see the 8-digit room code. It's on the hub banner too.
  • Friends type /rc 12345678 to join, and /leave to go back to their own world.
  • Party up with /party invite <name> and /party accept, then stand on the same mode portal to start.
  • On Melty, press Join on your friend's game. If they're still loading, type /rejoin once they're in.
  • A small flag after each name shows the country that player is in, never their address. /flag off hides yours.

Mineblox Royale is open source under the MIT licence. You need JDK 25; run gradlew build in fabric/.

The downloads also include Fabric API (Apache-2.0), e4mc (MIT) and an LGPL build of FFmpeg, used only to decode Roblox sounds from your own install. The Prism download also includes Prism Launcher (GPL-3.0), Microsoft's Visual C++ runtime and Java 25. Details are in THIRD-PARTY NOTICES.txt inside each download.
